UK plc is still a great place to do business and there are a host of individuals with drive and ideas that just require a little support to achieve their aspirations. With the expertise and experience of the Veruth Board, we are in a strong position to provide this without trying to exact large sums early on or build the company for a quick sale.
Our primary objective is long term investment in scale up companies who can deliver an increasing dividend flow from sustained profitable growth.
Companies are likely to be in the B2B manufacturing sector (in its broadest sense) but we are not exclusively there. Our shareholders agreement include an equity stake and a Non Executive Director on the Board. We also state that profits should be split as such: 50% retained by the Company, 20% for management incentive schemes, 30% for dividends. This shows our determination to keep re-investing the profits to build the Company further.
We are not looking for start-ups but scale-up companies that have a few years of trading experience and recognise they now need help to get to their next stage. Our minimum investment is £100k but usually we are looking to invest between £250k – £500k. We are investing in the Management team and its vision.
